But, the pandemic threw a curveball, disrupting exports and livelihoods that depend on this fishery. Stepping up to the plate, FAO's SVC4SIDS project is taking the lead!  They're rallying actors and stakeholders to supercharge the lobster value chain. In June 2023, a groundbreaking consultation on Kiritimati Island laid the foundation for a lobster revolution.
